Love the idea of using a plan manager?
Great, there are a few ways you can get plan management included in your NDIS plan. You can make a plan management request when your plan is being initially prepared, or during any period of time for which your plan is in effect. We've detailed each of these options for you below.

Ask to use a registered plan management provider at your planning meeting.
It’s a good idea to have a think about your plan management options before your NDIS planning meeting. If using a registered Plan Manager is the right option for you, simply advise the NDIS Planner or Local Area Coordinator (LAC) of your requested option.
Make sure you request to have ‘Improved Life Choices’ included in your NDIS plan.
Ask for a plan review to change your plan management type.
If you already have a plan in place, but do NOT have ‘Improved Life Choices’ included, then you may be either self-managing your funds or you are agency managed. You can always ask the NDIA for a plan review to change the way you’d like your plan funds managed.
