Kylie’s NDIS journey with MyIntegra’s Support Coordination

A comfortable team

Since Kylie connected with MyIntegra, her confidence has grown.

Not all National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participants will choose to self-manage their plans, many, like Kylie, will seek the support of a provider like MyIntegra to manage their supports.

“I think it does help my confidence that I have Karisha as my support coordinator” Kylie said.

“She makes me feel comfortable, and I feel good because I’m being listened to and understood and not judged.”

Karisha and Kylie work together, with Karisha making sure Kylie has all the support she needs to make daily living comfortable and to be able to achieve her goals.

MyIntegra is a registered provider of Plan Management and Support Coordination services across Australia, fully dedicated to helping people with disabilities navigate the NDIS.

Our experienced support coordinators and plan managers will help participants to navigate, understand and implement their NDIS plan and budget.

Through her NDIS plan, Kylie has been able to access services like psychology and exercise physiology for her health and recovery.

Getting the support she needs

Having worked as a nurse for over a decade, actively pursuing studies in disability and working with participants, Karisha sees first-hand the difference support makes to participants.

“Not only does the NDIS provide the participant with a sense of community, it also helps them with support within their choice and control” Karisha said.

Karisha has assisted Kylie by organising a range of daily living and wellbeing tasks, such as phone calls, appointments and even dropping shopping at her house.

Kylie says she finds Karisha very caring, and the partnership with MyIntegra has been very fulfilling.

“Now I feel like I’ve got the support I need with the NDIS.”
