If your NDIS plan, or your participants’ plan, is on the new PACE system, a new procedure needs to be followed to select a plan manager.
Participants must officially ‘endorse’ their chosen plan manager by informing the NDIA of their selection.
When is endorsement necessary?
Participants with NDIS plans on PACE need to endorse their plan manager:
- When they initially sign up for plan management, and
- When they start a new plan and wish to continue using that plan manager’s services.
It’s important to note that only participants or their nominees can endorse providers. Support Coordinators cannot endorse providers on behalf of participants.
How to endorse MyIntegra as your Plan Manager
Participants or their nominees have two options to endorse a plan manager:
- Call the NDIA National Call Centre at 1800 800 110 to notify them of your endorsement.
- Reach out to your Local Area Coordinator or planner to inform them of your choice.
Here’s a suggestion on what to say when you contact them to help with the endorsement process:
Hello,
I am calling to endorse a plan manager for my current plan. I am a [participant/nominee] and my NDIS number is [your NDIS number]. I believe my plan is on the PACE system, and I would like to endorse MyIntegra as my plan manager for my NDIS plan.
MyIntegra’s registration number is 4050 003 624.
Please endorse MyIntegra from [plan start date], which is the start date of my current plan.
Can you confirm that the endorsement is complete?
Starting a new plan when MyIntegra is already your plan manager?
If you are already using MyIntegra as your plan manager and are starting a new plan, make sure you communicate your endorsement of MyIntegra as your ongoing plan manager during the plan reassessment process, as well as any other providers you want to continue using.
