Starting your NDIS journey: access NDIS support for mental health and NDIS eligibility

To access funding, you must meet certain eligibility criteria including:

  • Having a permanent disability
  • Providing your disability significantly affects daily activities
  • Being under the age of 65
  • Living in Australia
  • Being an Australian citizen, permanent resident or a Protected Special Category Visa holder

Your application

As part of the access request, a mental health professional must fill out an Evidence of Psychosocial Disability Form. This covers:
