What we do to support NDIS participants

Plan Management

As a registered Plan Manager, we can free both you and your client from a whole lot of time-consuming and tricky paperwork.

When your client’s NDIS funding is managed by MyIntegra, it means we will handle all the invoices and payments. At MyIntegra we:

  • Pay your invoices fast
  • Give you access to your own provider portal so you can submit invoices and track their status
  • Help you to secure funds for your service in line with your service agreement or schedule of support
  • Work with you to resolve issue and guide you through the NDIS

Support Coordination

Our Support Coordination team work alongside local providers across Australia to ensure our participants can get the most from their NDIS plans and live the life they want.

MyIntegra support coordinators will:

  • Work with local providers to gain knowledge of the products and services available
  • Link participants with providers that can help
  • Assist participants to set up support and services with their providers and resolve any issues
  • Help negotiate service agreements

FAQs for providers

Do I need to be registered with the NDIS?

No, not if your customer is using a plan manager like MyIntegra. When an NDIS participant is using Plan Management to manage their funds, they can choose to use unregistered service providers.

As an unregistered provider, you still need to make sure you comply with the NDIS Code of Conduct and follow the guidelines. You can find more information on your obligations as an unregistered provider on the NDIS Quality and Safeguard Commission website.

What is the NDIS quality and Safeguard commission?

The NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission is an independent agency established to improve the quality and safety of NDIS supports and services. They ensure participants can access services and supports that promote choice, control and dignity.

Are my services are covered by the NDIS?

This all depends on the participant and the outcomes they want to achieve through their plan. For a support to be covered by NDIS funding, it must be considered ‘reasonable and necessary’ in helping the participant reach their goals and objectives.

What is plan management?

The NDIS allows participants to choose how they wish to manage their funding. They can choose between being self-managed, agency-managed (by the NDIS) or plan managed by a Plan Manager. NDIS participants can choose to use a plan management specialist, like MyIntegra, who can manage a participant’s funds on their behalf. This includes paying the participant’s invoices, helping them to keep track of their funding and maintain records for them.

What is support coordination?

Some participants may receive funding for a support coordinator to help them understand their plan, link them with local providers, and build their capacity and skills to act independently. We work with providers to ensure our participants are receiving the right supports for them.
